Construction scandal with Strojirna Litvinov military wind tunnel project in Rissia Can't Post

Breaking news from Russia!

Sources in Russian Airborne Troops, Min of Def of Russia confirmed that the project of a vertical wind tunnel (free fall simulator) for the Ministry of Defense of Russia in the city of Ryazan by Czech supplier Strojirna Litvinov, got literally "hit below the belly and stuck for indefinite period of time " due to the fact that after the completion of construction of the foundation of the tunnel and attempt to mount metal construction, terrible fact was revealed. The positions of carrying channel bolts of the foundation mismatched the positioning of the carrying steel construction pillars of a wind tunnel on 100 mm from each of the two sides. Experts in the field of construction call the incident a flagrant fiasco due to a complete lack of due supervision of foundation construction by the copyright Czech supplier of aero tunnel Litvinov and poor supervision of construction works by the customer who assumably over relied on Litvinov promises. Another huge question is- Who and by what means -whos money will correct this SCREWUP as all 370 million rubles(11 mill $) allocated for the project in Ryazan appear to be
already spended, which bring more and more questions as Litvinov claims it usually offers same wind tunnel model in Europe for around 2.975.000euro, where is 7.000.000 $ difference ?? Also according to the Russian regulations the customer - Russian Min of Def has the right to demand the demolition and reconstruction of the foundation, with all further unpleasant consequences coming out of it.

It is a significant fact that this is the first project of the Czech supplier of wind tunnels - Strojirna Litvinov in Russia, which puts under Big Question reliability, professionalism and consistency of Strojirna Litvinov as vertical wind tunnels supplier.

According to rough calculations, demolition and reconstruction of strip foundation will cost to Min of Defence of Russia 45.000.000 rubles (1mill euro) followed by huge fines from Russian Min of Def..
Source in Min of Def assumed that there is a possibility that Litvinov might be involved in money laundering schemes of Ryazan project money, which will be subject for criminal investigation at its own time, meanwhile no one can exclude the possibility that the sub-contractor who undertook construction of the foundation according project working documents of Litvinov suddenly will appear to be bankrupted and its ceo would turn out to be member of Yumba Umba tribe from Africa, and the cost of aero tunnel does not match the market, time and investigation will tell.

Czech supplier Strojirna Litvinov, took a quick word to hastened to disown from the scandal saying that authorised supervisor for all construction works is the Russian Construction Group of Companies -Meridian- represented by Mr Oleg Pavlenko, which sounds like an attempt to get rid of responsibility balast.

Would you be so kind to tell us who you are, where you are from and who you work for if you are in any way in the windtunnel business?

OR possibly provide a link to some information source that has attained some status for being reliable over the years that we in the USA might have more faith in than a total stranger named Press Release.

After we get to know you over time the trust can come but that is hard to do at this early point in your relationship with dropzone.

Hope this all works out for the better.

When completed would this Ryazan tunnel also be open to the public?

Like, never :( Hope to be wrong, thou

This is a military installation.
Funny thing is that it was announced before like 'all-Russian project'. No mentions about Chech at all.

We have couple of companies who build smaller tunnels - and actually their tunnels are good. But for some reasons they were excluded from this competition. Maybe their projects were too cheap? ;)

I heard negative feedbacks from Windoor users, like technically it loses to german tunnel, probably there's no smoke without fire.

Any way who cares of this tunnel, even if it will ever get launched I heard its not for public anyway and its too far from Moscow, waist of time.

Litvinov is a Czech CNC shop. They made much of the gear for the Prague wind tunnel and it works great. Mismatch of some mounting gear is no big deal - such miscommunication happens all the time, all over the world, and is certainly no cause for an entire project to be suspended, and I'm sure it won't be here, if that's all that's wrong. No idea what your agenda is, but you've either been misinformed or you're lying.

Do you realize that some people live outside of Moscow? :) If they'd offer competitive prices and hire professional instructors - it'd be more convinient for some people to go there instead of Moscow.
