Final Cut Pro vs Adobe Premiere
Can't Post
Hey folks,
I did a search of forums and could only find posts from a few years ago.
Does anyone have a recommendation on which to use to edit skydiving videos, Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere?
I video using GoPro Hero 3, all my computers are Mac.
I use similar styles for titles and credits. I'd love to have software that allows me to store a library of commonly used titles/credits/transitions/background music.
I'd welcome any recommendations.

FCPX is faster, but a slightly steeper learning curve. Premiere is a tad slower, but a lesser learning curve, more of a traditional approach to editing video.
Both allow for templated (but not automated) file processing. Me...I'm a Premiere fan on the Mac. No bullshit, just straight ahead work.

I favour Premiere, as the slowmo's there look nicer, and you have the easy option of remapping/interpreting 29/25 fps framerates when working with various formats.
FCP tends to not handle 60fps stuff that well when trying to convert that to normal (slowmo) speeds.
