Most DPRE's took the recurrent training from the FAA during the last PIA symposium in Reno. If you did your 2 year required recurrent training with EXPIRE this week. The training now expires 2 years to the DAY from when it was taken. Since the training at the PIA symposium isn't until March 24th you will be unable to test until then. You can take the training online now. I'm having to do that since I have a test this week.

I vaguely remember them allowing me to quietly sit in the corner during the last PIA Symposium ....

In 2011 the room was pretty full. It isn't open to the public. I'll pm you the instructor's email. But there are better ways to spend a Sunday in daytona beach.
