Mirror Image Can't Post

Anyone have the film/video of Mirror Image at Pope Valley from 1978/79 on DVD? Background music was Steve Miller's "Swingtown".

I wish I did. That was some great film. I watched it many times. I'm pretty sure when I saw it it was either BJ's copy or Rande Deluca's. I don't think there were many copies. Possibly only one.

We had a 16MM copy but it disappeared 20+ years ago. It sure would be great if it was resurrected.

You might call Hod Sanders at Sky Dive Montana, in Missoula. I think B.J. has an address in Whitefish. Maybe they can steer you in the right direction.

I believe the title was "Rainbow Magic" It ran about 45 minutes. I have a copy I got from Rande (Becky Livingstone) back in '79 or '80.

I would love to see that! I had just started jumping in 1986, moved to the SF Bay Area. Trekked to Lodi on the weekends. My very first weekend, I walked up to the hangar to see Mirror Image, Coors, and Army dirt diving 8-ways. A couple of months after that, went out to the DZ on a Wednesday afternoon. Bungie said I could follow Mirror Image out of Dause's Beech ("BTW, I don't want to see you" Laugh). Tom Sanders was videoing. That dive absolutely blew me away! I didn't think it was possible to do the things they were doing, with such control. I've been a RW-junkie ever since. CoolCoolCool
