Reuse Reserve Slinks Can't Post

Are PD Reserve Slinks reusable? Or must they be replaced if you change out reserve canopies?

They are 100% reusable, provided the rigger who packs the reserve find them in airworthy shape.

Also, traditionally they should stay with the reserve canopy, NOT with the container.

I don't think you can buy only one.
But talk to riggers, maybe they have some left from others that replaced main-bag connection.

Or buy four and you have three to sell to others Wink
Just look at others bags at the packingmat and tell them the benefits of slinks. Wink

Making good soft links isn't too tough. Ask your local rigger to whip one up. Because it is just for the bag, the length (in relation to the ones on your canopy) doesn't matter as much.

Single slinks can be purchased at ChutingStar. It isn't advertised on the website, but the PD reserve slinks are $8 a piece. Just email, call, or swing by one of the shops.

Reserve SLinks are made of the same materials as reserve suspension lines, so they last as long as reserve suspension lines, 400 to 600 jumps.
If you have made 600 jumps on the same reserve canopy, you might want to consider firing the guy/gal who packs your main!
