Weight belt and colostomy
Can't Post
Hey all,
I am 17 have been skydiving for almost a year now and due to my light weight (52 kg) I have been struggling to keep up with other jumpers and it is impacting on my B-rels. I am looking into getting a weight belt however I have a colostomy and I am worried that a belt might cause damage if I had a hard opening or something similar. I have tried a weight vest, however this was not really suitable. Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated.

Weight pockets on the container are another option. This has benefits in that the weight is carried as part of the container instead of on your body during deployment. Also, if you are ever unlucky to have a water landing, you don't have to worry about dumping the weights, once you are out of the rig, the weights are gone too.
