Largest tube exit?
Can't Post
Quick question, anyone know of a record set for largest tube exit? If so how'd they do it? Was it 3 x 3 for 9 people etc. Any YouTube videos etc. Thanks!

I don't recall the year, but when Roger Nelson brought a C130 to the World Skydiving Convention in Quincy, IL, people were doing at least 20 ways, 5 wide by 4 around. They might have been doing 25 ways. There was a picture in either Parachutist or Skydiving magazine, but I have no idea what year to look.
I believe first year for the WFFC and the C-130 was 1986. I have video I shot on a couple of loads. With later C-130's the tubes got bigger. The first year nobody knew what the hell to do with a plane that big.
My friend Stan was on some of those, but I don't remember how many he said they got up to, close to 30 though. He said they were at the point of having two people on the floor.
