Compact camera on helmet

Probably been asked but I couldn't find anything on it.
Does anyone know of a compact camera with a 2.5mm jack for bite/tongue switch? I've seen the how to article about adding one to a Sony NEX 5/7 but I'm not that confident with my electronics skills. I've also seen one from Olympus but it is a USB connection and I don't know of any compatible mouth switches.
I'm looking for something that will produce higher quality photos than a gopro/contour especially in low light.

Like the previous poster said you could propably get better answers on Video & Camera forum. But I've jumped with Canon IXUS 870 IS. It requires you to load custom firmware to your camera so you can attach blow/bite-switch to cameras USB port.
