Performance V3 vs. V4 ?
Can't Post
Hello at all,
I ask me about the difference in performance between the Vampire 3 and the V4. Optical there is more surface but is the performance increase so much higher that it´s worth it to buy a new V4 or it is marginally and better to stay by the V3 ?

Everyone has a different body, skillset and values every .1 GR or mph gained differently against investing in the latest model. So it's quite subjective. If you fly frequently I'd advise yes it's worthwhile for sure.

Speed is the same, float is better, so therefore glide is better. If you base jump, the start is shorter as well. I find it equally easy to fly as the V3. If you are planning to flock with it, then keep the V3. If you are planning on base jumping it, then the V4 is an upgrade.

- incorrect. It's much difficult to flock in V3 then in V4 (if the flock fly instead falling down on bellies) because to swell in V3 you need forward speed which usually more than the flock speed. Swelling in V4 much easier, because of extra clobber on the sides. May be you will don't mind if you very light and high, but usually flocking is V3 much toughly.

Sorry for the people making fun of your English.
I wish I could speak and write in Russian 1/100th as well as you do English, but could you please check with an English speaker better than yourself and then tell us what words you actually mean when you say "swellling" and "clobber"?
