I can't seem to change my avitar. When I do, the original picture remains, but changed to the 'new' pictures dimensions.
I've tried deleting the old avitar before uploading the new one as well, but amazingly my old avitar comes back on screen from somewhere (with new dimensions but the same old picture).
Even tried that, but clearing the cache didn't do the trick.
This ailment continued for 2 days, then one morning I looked and my OLD avitar was back (from weeks before...the one that had already been successfully replaced before).
So...I tried installing my newest avitar and walla!...it worked. So...dunno...it just fixed itself?
