To my knowledge, if you're closing a color tag, the closing tag would be [ /color ]

Right. I understand how the color tags are supposed to work. I just found unexpected behavior when I accidentally deleted only the opening color tag on a reply to a comment, leaving the closing tag, like this. It changed the font size of all text that followed, which was an unexpected behavior, which I tend to consider a bug. This is the forum where bugs are reported.

Hrm, I guess that is odd... Not sure what exactly is causing it, I'll make a note of it and see if we can find what's going on. Cheers

This post suggests that similar behavior might also be triggered by opening, but not closing, a code tag

Well, they've never provided an html tag to make text larger, so now we can just use this bug to accomplish that. Thanks for the tip!
