Cross braced or airlocked... yes, when it comes to canopies that have been on the market, just one or the other.
Brian Germain did experiment with a combination, he once said in an interview, but it was a sewing nightmare, and the additional benefits of having both features were not that big, not enough to make it worth producing. It did make a super stiff canopy though, which if you bounced off it in CRW, was like hitting an air mattress. [Ref.: interview was in an early Skydive Radio]
