4 way league
Can't Post
Hi Guys, First of all I am trying to find out if there is a 4 way league in Western Australia, at the moment I don't believe there is.
What is involved in setting a league up? Our geography is such that clubs are scattered over a large geographic area. Would scoring be feasible on an honour system, so teams don't travel to compete?

Hey Nigel,
I am President of RelWorkers Unlimited in Vic. We have been trying to get some interstate rivalry going alongside our Victorian State League. The coming season is due to kick off in the next couple of months. I'd be very happy if we could get something going.

Send me a PM either here or on skysurfer.
Cheers, Scott
Excellent - I saw the Vic RelWorkers details. Seems everyone in WA either does freefly or wingsuit
It might be worthwhile contacting Kurt at Skyleague.com. Helping regions setting up leagues is something he's really done so well. You'll need a local leader to step up and volunteer to make it happen, though.
(http://www.skyleague.com) was originally set up as a national (US) skyleague, but now it's more of an international sky league and fantastic that it is. We get to compare scores on same weekly draws with all sorts of teams around the world.

West-Aussie would be a GREAT addition.
Thanks, I've already been chatting with Kurt and he has been very helpful. I'm quite happy being the local organiser, I just need to get to know more locals (which takes time, especially when you can't get out the dz often).
The APF used to run the Spring League and Autumn League in 4-way and 3-way each year. They also ran CRW as well depending on demand It was a lot of fun, they did a round of 3 every three weeks for 9 weeks, making a total of 9 jumps. You sent your video into the APF to have it judged.
I enjoyed it and participated several times, but it died off a few years ago due to lack of overall interest around the country.
