how much warmer is full face helmet compared to open face? Can't Post
how much warmer is full face helmet compared to open face when it's cold out? is there a significant difference?

(have an open face at the moment - if there is only a minor difference I'm happy to stick with my open face - kind of hard to imagine without having jumped a full face, like you'd think the cold wind is still going to seep/travel up from the bottom of a full face at the speed we're travelling at anyway)

Yes. Worlds apart.

If you get the Bonehead Revolve you have a full face and an open face in one helmet.

really - ok thanks, with that short but clear answer I've already decided to get one Smile

would be interesting to know, for those who prefer open face, at what point/temperature as winter approaches they would swap over to full face. Well wonder if there are any jumpers to begin with who'd operate like this...

It makes a HUGE difference for me. As mentioned above, fogging/icing can be an issue.

Never...I jump the same open face helmet all year long.
