ZP EXE Can't Post

How much would you pay for a ZP EXE from Parachute Systems with 1200 jumps on it that needs a reline and new slider?

Sell it on ebay as a decoration parachute.

I'd pay exactly whatever a wall decoration piece is worth to me.

every dollar you put into that canopy in order to make it airworthy is a dollar wasted.

I disagree a tiny bit, at least with the waste part.

I wouldn't pay money for it either, but it might be worth the cost of a reline and a new slider to get it airborne for someone, if it's what's available.

i think the brand new 135 is still for sale in the classifieds.
$800 and ALL BLACK. what would this canopy fly like? are even brand new ones worth anything? there are no reviews or information on these canopies that i can find.

It's sort of like a sabre 1, a little less performance I think (think old-skool square student-type canopy-ish).

These days, I wouldn't pay usd 800 for a new sabre 1, so no way would I pay that for a "copy". But that's just me. If you need a tame square 135 that will likely open brisk, and this gets you in the air, why not. It would make a decent wingsuit canopy if you don't load it too much (I'm not sure how much you can load a zp exe, I wouldn't go over 1.4 myself maybe lower).

I jumped a 185 for a while, and the openings weren't what I would call brisk at all, actually, the slider wouldn't come down by itself and even with 'helping' by yanking the backrisers the openings took like a thousand feet.

Heh.

If it helps anyone, I borrowed one for a weekend of maybe ten jumps a while ago, a 150 loaded at about 1.5. It opened beautifully, the best thing about it. I thought it was an OK canopy, reliable and lacking in surprises. And you just had to look at it sternly to get it into the bag - utterly hassle-free.

Downside: not great glide ratio, kind of stodgy on the toggles. But if the price is right..?
