One of my buddies uses one and has no problems and it works great. I use the t3i and there is no real difference between them besides my screen rotates unlike the t2i.

I have the camera with a 10-22mm lens, and I love the tandem pictures that it takes. I also have a 50mm 1.4 for a walk around lens, and those pictures come out really nice. Here's a photo gallery from our last year's Wounded Warrior event, that shows samples of each.

Everyone at the drop zone where I work uses the T2i for the day to day shooting of tandems, etc. They take beautiful photos when operated properly, just like most other cameras. 18mp sensor is nice. If you plan on using it for video though, spend the extra couple of dollars and get the T3i the rotating screen makes a difference.

cheers,
