Manifest Qualifications Can't Post

What are your "personal" opinions on what qualifications a manifesto should have? Legally, mentally, attitude etc..

How is your manifesto? Pros & Cons? Love? Hate?

A local DZO declares a vagina is a primary qualification. The declaration continues, men can do the job mostly, but don't have the same follow through on it, and it's the follow through that's important.

patience
ability to multi task
considerate attitude to New clientele AND old timers
willingness to put in long hours working,, while everyone else around is Playing.Unsure

Extensive knowledge and understanding of aircraft, of pilots needs,
and of jumpers needs... ( NOT wants ) .

... and based on YOUR posts about the downsize issue and what appears to BE, an Entitlement attitude... and a lack of consideration to many, who simply tried to "advise you"....

i'd say.... NOT you...Unimpressed

i don't care WHO the DZO is......
The only thing worse than a "know -it -all KID " is a know it all kid who doesn't realize what he (or she) DOESN'T know... imho

The word you want is "manifester", not "manifesto".

A manifester is one who manifests, which is what they do at the drop zone, assigning jumpers to aircraft.

A manifesto is a written statement announcing someone's ideas and intentions, like "The Communist Manifesto". Manifesters are not communists, although sometimes it seems that way.

It's even worse at my DZ... the manifester is a Republican! Wink

If you type "manifester" into MS Word, spell check changes it to "manifesto", but, thank you Mr. Thesarus Nazi.... Cool

Depends on the size of the DZ. Manifest is usually the "face" of the DZ lot of times. They might sell tickets or do equipment checks for visiting jumpers. They might only assign jumpers. Must be a chick and attractive.

Who would have known that education was a better investment than MS Word?

Well, I’m an edumacator Crazy whose writing skills are horrible! I rely heavily on spell check. I don’t need to be an English major to share my Ideas (although it would help). So, go easy on us… Wink

This is not because i am interested in becoming a manifesto, I am just curious how my dropzone's manifesto is different from other dropzone's, and what trait/s you find to be helpful for all jumpers that a manifesto might have?Unimpressed

Cleaning the white-out off your computer monitor before the interview is recommended.
