New DZ in VIRGINIA. Can't Post
Virginia Skydiving Center opening Oct. 15-16. Located at the Dinwiddie Airport near Petersburg, VA. Conveniently situated right off of I-85. Lots of motels and restaurants close by, even a Holiday Inn.

Indoor packing, shelter from the sun and rain. Cool

That looks like a great place for a DZ. The airport is big and open with lots of runways, There are no neighborhoods too close. It's convenient to the interstates and a good sized town. This just might work!

Eh..for the record, we go OFFSITE for after hours consumption. We had a pretty kickass cookout this past weekend @ Picture Lake Campground, with hopefully many more gatherings to follow. Pics @VSC on Facebook.

Just remember, if anyone from sLyride calls you in an effort to get you to do business with them, hang up in their face! It looks like you have a good thing going, don't screw it up by getting in bed with them criminals at sLyride!!!

Give it a rest, dude. This "new" DZ in Virginia has been operating for over 50 years at a different airport. I think they know who Skyride is.

Grand Caravan permanently based at Virginia Skydiving Center. Carries 17 jumpers and look at the size of that door.

How did we ever get out of a Beech D 18 in full conventional gear ?

We just dropped the prices...not sure if it's reflected yet on the site, but here's the release link.

$25 full alt - Caravan/182
$15 5k - Caravan/182

Before 9a.m. -
$16 - 11k - 182
$9 for 5k hop and pops, either over the airport, or over our supersweet swoop pond/182
