Wingsuit mods Can't Post

Any negatives to getting wingsuit mods on a new rig if you don't plan on jumping a wingsuit for a long while?

Not really, some will even advise against a longer bridle as they believe it increases the chances of a knot. The only downside may be making the container look good after closing with dynamic corners. It just takes a little bit of care which is not a problem if you pack but hired packers would rarely care about.

Are you referring to UPT's cut-out corners?

A downside might be you may get used to opening up in a track more often and having no issues until you borrow a different rig without one Wink

simple answer is no.But if you plan on wing suiting at a later date it makes good sense to do it now instead of later.

All my rigs have em', whether used for AFF, fun jumps, or wingsuit jumps. I'd advise against a larger PC that often accompanies a wingsuit mod, you'll be changing PC's at some future point anyway. I wouldn't worry about the bridle length.

I did hundreds of WS jumps with a standard bridle and occasionally would get a PC hesitation. Haven't had a hesitation since I put on a longer bridle.

YMMV

Recently started jumping the semi stowless bag from Infinity that has the longer bridle. Love it. My openings were pretty good before, and they even nicer now. Just placed an order for another rig from them with dynamic corners. Can't wait to give it a try.

Tony/Gail, is it done yet????? Smile
