This is very sad news, almost always sat across from her when she was shooting for Frayed Knot, listening to Joe recite his poetry for the whole airplane!
I only met the Pangburns one time, but they were the nicest people I've ever jumped with. Brian is a top-notch crwdog and Pam was a crw videographer.
Brian was nice enough to send me a DVD of how to pack a Lightning, and I sent it on to another aspiring crwdog somewhere in Florida. Hopefully he has continued the pay-it-forward mentality and someone else is benefitting from it.
Brian, I am so sorry...

A "Celebration of Life" for Pam Pangburn will be held this Saturday (August 27th) from 2 - 4 PM at the Holiday Inn Grand Ballroom in Casa Grande Arizona. (address is 777 N Pinal Ave.)
A few of you have asked about flowers or contributions. Memorial contributions can be made to: Civil Air Patrol sqd 316 PO Box 10486 Casa Grande, AZ 85130 (a 501c3 entity) –or- U.S. Parachute Association Attn: U.S. Parachute Team Trust Fund 5401 Southpoint Centre Blvd. Fredericksburg, VA 22407 (a 501c3 entity) (in the check memo reference Memory of Pam Pangburn)
A wonderful video, put together by Pam's friend, Eli, was shown at her memorial service this weekend. Seeing Pam in these photos makes me very sad that I'll not see her again on some DZ somewhere. She always brought such brightness to anyplace she was. Fly Free, Pam.
Very nice (and moving) photo/video tribute. I didn't know Pam but send my sincerest condolences to a fellow skydiver. Prayers for her husband, Brian, are on the way as well.
I almost had the honor of meeting Brian and Pam just before this tragic event. My heart goes out to Brian. Hope to meet you in the sky in a CReW jump my friend. Blue Skies Bill
