Slow motion canopy opening Can't Post

I was looking around and was surprised I didn't find video of someone diving with a high-speed camera and catching ultra-slow-motion canopy opening. Does anyone know where to find one?

Because most cameraflyers protect their neck by *not* looking up to watch their canopy openings.

Towards the end of this there's a slomo opening on a high hop'n'pop

And because most of them didn't realize that you can turn your camera 180 degrees to shoot the opening Wink

Actually I'm starting to believe in it.

I also tried to search for that kind of videos with no success. I think I have somewhere on my own archives one video shot with Gopro 60fps if that's enough?

And not many have "high speed" cameras. I'm not sure 60FPS is really considered high speed for super slow mo. I have plenty of video of my canopy opening, but nothing in super slow mo or anything special.

Go get a decent HD camera and a safire2 with a huge slider...

But it doesn't show the full extraction nor inflation

I do not know if this is exactly what you are looking for, but I usually look up when I open, catching most of the opening.
I slowed it down to 15%, just for you. Smile

Thanks for that video! It's kinda scary to see how that thing snivels...it looks like it's just doing the same thing over and over and all of a sudden it opens =P I know it's not the case though.

It'd be damn hard to get a good video of full extraction from PC deployment till under canopy.
