Books about the history of parachuting Can't Post

Hi, I'm doing some research about the origins and major advances in parachuting/sky diving, so I was hoping someone here could recommend a book for me to read. The only one's I have heard of are "The Sky People," "The Silken Angels," and "Big Umbrella." These any good? Any better ones?

Thanks!Smile

Google Howard Gregory and Bud Sellick. And, I guess Mike Swain.

"The Yorkshire Birdman"
Leo Valentines's biography, first published in France during the late 1940s and subsequently translated in to english.
Leslie Irvin's biography, published in Britain.
Goerge Quilter's biography.
Plus hundreds of military history books in every language, but try to focus on books published in American, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Russian because they were the first to use paratroopers in war.

Nice pics (I have all of them) but only a limited amount of text/history.

It's a self published book and it shows, but Tom was part of the early days and had some interesting ales to tell.

He has two of his own, including the recent ""Catch Me if you Can."
