Thanks to those who reported this issue, we're currently in the process of taking the steps to get these ads removed from the site as soon as possible. Will keep you guys updated.
PS: In the mean time, if anyone experiences any odd pop-ups requesting the installation of any software on your computer while you're browsing DZ.com, please do not allow this adverts to install on your system. If possible, close the window altogether for that period.
Sorry for the inconvenience, we're trying to sort out the advertising as best we can but every now and then something seems to slip through.

Just to update you on the situation, we've been in contact with those running the ad campaigns, the issue should be fixed now and there shouldn't be any dodgy ads running anymore.
Those in charge of the ads have responded and said that they have tried to replicate the virus by accessing the site on several machines but were unable to do so.
If anyone is still receiving this problem, please take a screenshot of the error and ads on the dropzone.com page so that we can narrow it down.
It is currently like finding a needle in a haystack if we don't know which ad is causing it.
I got the AVG message that it blocked this (Blackhole Exploit....) at around 3pm Pacific Time. It came on when opening the dropzone home page. Just got around to researching it. So it's still out there.

If it happens again please take a screenshot so that we can see where it is coming from, we'd need to see the ads on the page that triggered it. Both I and the advertising team who deal with the ads have tried to replicate this several times but have never got our anti-virus software to pick it up, so we're unable to locate which ad it's coming from.
I was hoping that it was fixed as no one had reported anything since.
