How to set Gates up Can't Post

Hey guys,

im just here to get some ideas on the best way to set up gates for a swoop demo on a lake????
i have wind blades but how can i hold them still and not float around??

its my first time doing anything like this so im sorry if this question annoys anyone.

How deep is the water where you're putting the gates up?

For slightly shallower depths, I used an extra long black widow pole (gate height + water depth) and placed an oak dowel in the pond bottom to hold it. Collapsing the pole with a pool noodle piece over the base of the gate, so it would float on the surface.

Does it have to be windblades? If you go with lower gates, it's way easier to set stuff up that already floats:
