Maximizing tunnel learning
Can't Post
I am a very new skydiver with two tandems, and two static line jumps under my belt. I will be going to the bay area for work in a few weeks, and will be staying very close to the iFly tunnel there. I plan to book at least 30 minutes of time to work on the basic so I will be better prepared for my AFF and solo jumps. Any good tips on what I can do to get the most out of this? This will probably be the only shot I have at a tunnel for a long time.
Get a good coach. Tell the coach your experience and what you're looking to learn. Listen to the coach.
I'd recommend doing two (or more), 15 minute sessions. You'll get more out of more, shorter sessions since you'll be able to watch the video, debrief, and get back in the tunnel to apply what you've learned.
Just wanted to say thanks again for helping find someone to work with. I did 20 minutes over this past weekend and learned a lot. I can see why so many recommend it.
