DO NOT do business with anyone who offers to send you payment for a higher amount than your selling price with the understanding that you'll send back the balance.
Be suspicious of anyone claiming to be acting on behalf of a "client" or another "customer".
Be suspicious of anyone claiming to be from Nigeria or West Africa
If you agree to accept a check payment, then do not send anything, gear or "change" before the check cleared. And be careful, if you manage to clear a fraudulent check then you may be liable for the damages if the bank finds out later. Make sure your bank authenticates the check.
If it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is.
Wow I feel so dumb. If only I checked this before it happened. My bank told me the check was good though. and it was in my account. and today they said the check had been returned. How can they do this when they already said the check was good? and the money was already in my account. the bank said i had nothing to worry about. Please any advice on how I can get my money back would be appreciated. my email is aboo625@yahoo.com
I was contacted by this person as well trying to purchase a canopy i had posted. he even called me and tried to convince me over the phone that he was trust worthy. his e-mail was reyerenalydo@ymail.com. heads up for douche bags.
