National Director Candidates:
Can't Post
Hello,
I am running for National director and have created a web page at http://www.richwinstock.com for more information or visit me on Facebook. As I have said there are 14 very qualified candidates and every vote will count. Take a moment and read each biography in this month's Parachutiest magazine. You can vote for one (1) or up to 8 candidates to fill these positions. Many have actively set up pages as well, maybe they can post under this thread to help educate our online community.
I also noticed that there is only one regional contest minus write in campaigns, which I do not know of them all. So write ins need to let your regions know.
I do know that Ray Lallo is running a write in in Mountain, and Kip Loemiller is running a write in in Soutern.
I just got the electronic email to vote online and not surprisingly there was an error trying to vote, the web site is down. (Shaking head right now)

The online link is up and running. I just voted and it seemed fairly simple. Once the link opens, you can look at candidate biographies, and select up to 8 candidates. My regional was the only one to come up so I imagine you only have your region come up. The link is only valid for the three days, with reminders being sent.

I wasn't asked for a password. It appeared to be encoded into the link I was given.

You got my vote, Rich. voting was fast, easy, and painless. I have no fears about security, I'm not afraid someone is going to stuff the ballot boxes, and it is sensibly designed. Great job, USPA!

DSE,
Thank you. I must admit it was fairly easy, assuming everyone has a valid email with USPA. I am hoping this will increase our voting numbers dramatically.
I am wondering if USPA will have a location that a member can go to register an email or check to see if the one on file is correct.
I am also wondering how to avoid checking an online vote versus a ballot sent in by someone who voted online. Just a thought.
So far I am very impressed, we will see as the months go on.
For anyone that has yet to vote, please take a moment to visit my page and see why I am running for National Director, and if you believe that I would be an asset to the USPA membership on the BOD, then please cast your vote for me.
(On a side note, I bet I'm the only candidate that has trekked 60+ miles round trip to Everest Base Camp and back with a USPA flag in their back pack. )
I'll be back in Florida on Saturday, if anyone has any questions on my candidacy, please feel free to email me at noonantommy@yahoo.com, or ask here on this thread.

I going to give ya a shot, don't let us down should you win.
Now Marty Jones, if your reading here, you didn't get my vote because you couldn't take the time to let us know who you are and why I should vote for you, so you get no vote from me.
Tom you got my vote too.
Jan got my vote....again!

Hey Tom,
Thank you very much, I support you as well. I enjoyed our conversations and am pretty sure we can carry on in the same direction. I like keeping an open line of communication...

Tom and Rich both got my vote. Even though I only know them both via the Internet, they both are actively campaigning and really seem to want the job (as opposed to some folks who just go on "name recognition."
People who want the job is definitely a good thing...
