Okay, not spell checker. But when I click on an identified word to get the right spelling(s) it stops responding and I haven't found any option than to close explorer.

Which means I LOSE everything I typed in the message I'm spell checking!Mad

If I have something set up wrong what is it?

Spell checker hasn't worked for years. I'd love it if HH would just take it off the site until it works again so people don't have this problem.

I find it amusing that it identifies "skydiver" and "skydiving" as misspelled words. Laugh

That's odd. I use spell checker a lot, and I don't have operational problems.

Sometimes it flags things I would not expect, like "that's".

Sometimes the suggested corrections are nuts.

But it doesn't lock up on me the way Terry mentions in his post.

FYI - I've been using Firefox for a couple of years now. But I don't recall problems from my IE days either.
