When head-down, or say when learning, is it common to find that one foot/leg you prefer forward/backward and always stay with that similar to regular or goofy on a snowboard/skateboard? Or do you usually acquire a sense of ambidexterity between legs?

Yes I think most people have a dominant leg position that they default too. However the goal is to fly in any leg position, especially with larger Freefly formations.

You need to work on getting your hip and glute muscles developed and practiced equally. It takes currentness and excercises (both in the sky, on the ground, or in the tunnel).

Strattle or daffy, ultimately, it's best to be able to place your legs any place in-between the two. It will just take a lot of dedication man.

I'm very goofy foot dominant in a daffy. I either fly straddle, both legs back or RT foot forward. I CAN fly left forward but I don't naturally practice it anymore.

If you're new to head down, do your self a favor and do both.
