Its so cute.
Why was the Cobalt 25 hooked up at only one point while this one is hooked up at two?
And is there video anywhere of either of these canopy rides?

Just think when he goes to bed he can use his canopy as a blanket.

I think the sheets on my twin bed are larger than that canopy. WTF are people thinking when they decide to jumps something that small.

Well i sincerely doubt he landed it. People have flown sub-40.. i haven't heard of anyone landing them (and surviving) yet.

Okay, I saw that thing hanging in the kitchen at Kapowsin yesterday.

I told Andy Farrington it looked like a tandem canopy for a 1/6 scale action figure, like a G.I. Joe.

Here is another way to think about the size of a 21 sqft canopy that made me chuckle:

Skyler, my Daughter is almost 3 years old and weighs 30 or so pounds. If you could Figure a small rig and small reserve and she would be loading the canopy at close to 2.0 Shocked

we were thinking about that yesterday. We could build a small rig and install R/C equipment in the reserve containerTongue

I can remember building radio controlled skydivers in the early '80s...

It seems there still is an active scene out there. Maybe you can get a model skydiver and some background information from a link like this: http://www.paramax.de/mikeeng.htm.

Yes, I am sure they have a big following in Germany and the like. I read some time ago about the accuracy competitions they had. Hell, they would build these skydiver models which were very realistic and drop them from under the wings of RC aircraft. Next, they fly the parachutist in for accuracy landings. It looks fun. With that 21, I would build a dude that would wingload that rascal at about 1.8, then swoop ponds with it. THAT would be outstanding to see. Of course, chow once and you would probably fry the electrics.

If you wrap the electronics up in latex or a quality plastic or something, it shouldn't be a problem. It'd be fairly easy to do.
