22 - 23 Oktober (thursday/friday) we wil be at Ameland. One of the smallest of the Dutch islands in the north-sea.
We will be teaching FFCs, and doing some beautifull photo/video jumps over the sea with the more experienced flyers.
The island is only 2 to 3 km wide, and we are allowed our own jumpruns/run-ins in each and every direction that we please (beach landings allowed). The jump plane(s) wil be a C182, with an additional C206 Turbine if we have enough flyers.
The weekend that follows the 2 day wingsuit event is going to be the season-end boogie for the DZ. And means you can come to the island for 4 days of flying, and lots of partying afterward!
There wil also be a C206 turbine (soloy) most likely. Its a 4 day event that wil focus on small fun/coach/skills/photo/video jumps. Fun, beautifull scenery and beach jumps.
Altitude is 9000 ft for the c172/182, 12k for the c206t. We'll also try for an island bigway record. First persons to do a 2 way wil have that one for ever to brag about ;)
Our turbine aircraft is close to confirmed (C206 Soloy) so 12k here we come! If you want to check out the Island, see Google Maps. We'll be doing BeachLandings as well (intentional ones)
We're mostly looking at 1 on 1 jumps, small formations etc. No registration fee. Only slot payd for coach/videographer (shared if multiple flyers are on a load).
Hans, Bave, Tim, Bart and quite a few other Belgian/Dutch flyers are still eyeballing their agendas from what I hear..but eager to come fly! We'll try and set a nice 5 way (+video) island record, and most likely also an Ukranian formation record Its going to be epic...
Next to the wingsuit stuff, there wil also be quite a few normal funjumpers (canopies to swoop) and BBQ, party etc etc!
The list of all attendees is already up to 30!

Newsflash! This is going to sound like a bad episode of a boring TV series, but THEY MOVED THE ISLAND!
Due to restrictions the airfield has gotten from the island council, we sadly are forced to do some last minute switcheroo action. And skip a few Islands.
Instead of the small dropzone at Ameland, Skydive Texel is throwing us a party, and will have two Cessna Grand Caravans standing by to take us to 13.000 ft (and we will try and sneak in one or two 16k loads)!
We will stay in a local hostel/farm, and BBQ and (greasy) food will be arranged every night!
For those who dont know Texel, here is a video from a few years back, that shows the views!
And of course we will be trying to fly the tightest formation so far on the Island (so fly those slots and look cool doing it!!).
For people (with sufficient experience) who want to try, I will also have some pre-release Stealth2 demos with me to demolish some personal bests in time and distance flying, or try some max freefall time flocks with some big suits flown at max!
Next to flocking, there is also plenty of time for 1 on 1 jumps and photo/video jumps if you're looking for some pretty pictures of yourself!
This is the list of people coming! My guess is that this last minute Island swapping action wil only make the list grow Big planes, and no problem getting our own jumpruns (facing the DZ, no turns, max time! max speed! Or play a bit with carving formations! We'll make it cool!).
We will arrive thursday morning (22nd) and head back sunday (25th) with the last boat. People wanting to do FFCs, please shoot us a note at info@flylikebrick.com
For people already heading to the Island from the Intl. Airport (Amsterdam Schiphol).
At Schiphol airport, buy a trainticket (from the machine or one of those real people locked up in a booth) to DEN HELDER. And from there its a 5 minute walk to the boat. For more info on the train/times/price, check http://www.ns.nl
