Booties Can't Post

Hey you experienced guys out there:
I have a suit made by a local fellow (Texas) and he does not have the capability or expertise to add booties to this camera suit, any one know where can I go to do this inexpensively in preferably in Texas.

You could always use zip-on booties. They go over the lower half of your legs, adding booties to any suit.

cheaper to just rubber band a big plastic bag over your feet - and just as effective

our just fly without them. have thousands of camera jumps never using booties. While they are great when ya need them, they do limit you in some aspects

I only know one cameraman that had booties installed with his wingsuit - Michigan did it for him.

I don't like it when I fly camera. Will stick with my wing jacket and FF pants. Laughthe only thing that stinks is the two piece results in a breeze under canopy - I can't keep the jacket tucked in on opening....Laugh

I've seen several cameramen jumping booties. For example DeLand Majik (http://www.vigil.aero/...ery/DelandMajik7.jpg) but what do they know ;-)

Generally speaking - what's a good reason to get a camera suit with booties?

OK - just for the extra control in flying? Was just wondering since typically the camera flyer doesn't track on breakoff.

It's mainly for flying up the hill, on exit.

Booties and wings together can give you more options for combinations of fall rates & angles.
