Mike's sister Kelly called me today. Mike was found in his tent in a homeless camp. She said a needle was found next to his arm. He had a drug problem for some years.
Mike hung out in Paso for awhile back in the nineties. I remember one skydive, a four way with him, me, Steph and Harry. We turned like 17 points from 10500, and broke off on time too. Best four way skydive I'd ever done.
Mike and I went to high school together. I grew up in a house (where my parents still live) across the street from his grandparents. I kind of wish I'd made it to our 20 year reunion two months ago, but I've got no idea if he was there or not.
