Skydiving Boogie Festival Fundraiser for

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

Come on out and enjoy an exciting day of fun filled activities, all in the name of charity. Watch as about 30 expert skydivers attempt to create a drop zone record! There will be raffles, silent auctions, food concessions, and much more. There will also be on-site Diabetes screening and sugar-free goodies.

Join us at Homestead General Airport on February 22, 2003, 8:00am 'til Sunset! Only 29 days left.

Free Tandem Skydive Door prize! No purchase necessary! All you have to do is register and be present when we draw for it (3:30). The tandem is to be done at 4:00 the day of the event and the jumper must be 18 or over. Register by emailing me at, at the event, or by listening to Thunder Country 100.3 (in South Florida) the week before the event.

Falling to Support Juvenile Diabetes 2003 is a third party charity fundraiser created to increase awareness of Type 1 Diabetes and collect donations to find a cure. All proceeds from this event will be donated to JDRF.

What's Happening Now

Danvision productions will be documenting the event. Videos will be available for purchase at a later date. More info later.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

We have received word that world famous travelers, Rufus and Ruby will be joining our event and perhaps even participating in the skydiving.

We have secured a remote radio broadcast. WCTH Thunder Country 100.3 will provide music and live coverage of the jumps.

T-Shirt negotiations have begun. We are planning on placing the 'Falling to Support' logo on the back and JDRF's logo over the left front. Skydivers' shirts will also sport the word Skydiver on the right sleeve.

We have begun sales of our raffle tickets.

Thanks to Fred Whitsitt of Skydive Miami we now have an airplane. We will be using a Casa provided by Paul Fayard of Carolina Sky Sports.
