It's mostly people making first tandem jumps, obviously. But if you give Spaceland a call I'm sure they can put you in touch with the organizers. They've had a table out a couple of times when I was there for the raffle...
Cool. It sounds like a great event. I've been half-heartedly been trying to do something similar with a tunnel trip, but admit I haven't put enough effort into it.
I'm suprised this didn't get out to the amputee skydiving community (all like 25 of us). The article implies there will be amputee skydivers there. If I'd known about this ahead of time, I might have made the trip.
I just found out about it too... guess they want only first time tandem amputee skydiving...they had this even last year I sent email to them telling them about the Pieces of eight amputee skydivers.. guess they forgot about us..
We did this once before in 2007 with great success. This Saturday there will be 110 from their group doing tandems, cooking, moon walks for the kids, and more fun fun fun.
