Have you voted yet?
Can't Post
Just curious how many folks have still not voted. I would think if you are reading this forum you have an interest and have either already voted or plan to soon.
As posted on another thread the ballots are available online if you don't have one. There is still lots of time left.
...and just to add, you haven't actually 'voted' until it's in the mailbox, stamped & headed that way.
I finally stamped & mailed a buddies ballot this weekend, it's been blowing around on the dashboard of his car for WAY to long...I also gave him and extra 'Round Tuit' I had with me!
I think you should have made a poll with all the known cadidates so we can have an "Exit Poll" like the Pres Elec got.
I voted within a week of getting my ballot. I used the info in Parachutist, Skydiving, dz.com and personal web pages of the candidates along with some personal interaction to make my choices.

Matt
I did the same thing, but a bit longer. Waited until I had gathered enough info to make my choices with, and sent the ballot off.
I marked off three NDs and wrote myself in the day I got the ballot. I then put it up on the fridge where it can wait a bit while I decide whether I want to add anyone else (I also wanted to get my renewed membership card before mailing it in...that arrived last week).
I still don't have my ballot. Well, of course I have ballots - I've been passing around blank ones at the DZ recently. But my Parachutist seems to have gone missing (not surprising considering I have changed my address twice in the last three months and although I've updated my address with USPA, that particular issue was probably forwarded by the post office).
I have not yet sat down and filled out my ballot. I have a good idea of who I will be voting for, but I just haven't gone through the motions to put pen to paper.
I voted but have not mailed yet. The damn official envelope won't glue shut. Thought about sealing it with duct tape but that might make it unofficial.

Guess I'll have to call for a ruling.
I had the same problem, damn cheapo envelopes. Your USPA membership dues at work.
I voted and i live 10,000 miles from the USofA so the rest of you lazy sod should vote
You voted? I don't know USPA's voting rules, but even if you're a USPA member, I'd have thought if you're not living in the US and is not a US citizen, your vote won't count? Maybe I need to research the rules unless somebody can reply here faster.

If he pays his dues why would it matter where he lives? Do the US citizens in Afghanistan get to vote?

OK, after several hours of reading, and wondering, asking a few questions at the DZ, I have my ballot ready to mail. I voted for some incumbants, some new faces, and everyone I knew personally, all three {I need to get out more I guess}. And Johathan, I liked what you said and the interest you took to ask me, so, for better or worse, you got my vote. Sorry Krisanne, I voted for you as well.
