Rigger question NB 6 hardware, DB Cooper Can't Post

to see photos of one of the DB Cooper bills that were recovered buried on a sand bar in the Columbia River. There appears to be a rust stain showing contact with some iron/steel item. Cooper jumped with a Navy NB 6 bailout rig with a 28 foot military canopy. it is a super longshot, but does this rust stain match any hardware on an NB 6?
