Well, the file is the same as my avatar. I keep trying to post them on my pictures page and they say I will get an email when they are approved............no email yet and it's been a week.

Now you've provided enough info for us to understand your problem.
They're slow to approve things sometimes. Your delay is not unusual. It sucks, but that's the way that process runs around here. Approvals are done by a volunteer, and he doesn't always have the time to wade through the pile very often.

Premeier Members get their photos auto approved, everyone else needs to have theirs manually approved. There are a lot of people out there that upload inapproriate photos or use websites as dumping grounds for photos only to link them on other sites, manual approvals help on that stuff.
