I'm brand new to this, like ive only done my first AFF jump haha. I am set for my next one this week. But I will be coming into some money soon, and I was looking into getting a rig. I was wondering what the best container and main is. thanks all!

The best one will be the one that saves your life every jump. Finish your AFF, rent some gear until you comfortable landing a canopy in the size you can handle, and one that you'll fly for awhile, then worry about what you like the best.
haha i agree. I figure I will be trying them out for a while. and certainly not getting one until I have at least like 20 jumps. I was just wanna do all my research so I need to start now lol. Im trying to find out I guess what brands are good for what.

I second that. Here here. I think that many people come to these forums, not familiar with DZ.com, not familiar with skydiving in general, but want to learn. Perhaps making that a-sticky would be a good way to help make a better first impression
