I checked with our ad agency and I do owe you an apology. They served a limited number of pop-unders containing a survey they were doing (not ads). They assured me that it was an error on their part that will not be repeated.
Apologies for that.
My position on this is and has always been that we will not bombard you with pop-ups and pop-unders. If you spot any of these again in the future, please let me know and I'll be all over it
If using IE 7 (maybe 6.+) Tools\Pop-up Blocker Turn off sounds Turn off pop-up blocker notification bar Turn the filter level on high. No more pop-ups.
Use the allow function for those sites you use that do have pop-ups.

EDIT: Should have mentioned that attachmetns and profiles are considered pop-ups, but I hardly review those and if so click the termporarily allow..

This might just be an issue on my computer, but twice now (in the past month, so certainly not often) when I click the "Enter" key in my post while replying it launches a new browser for "Ask Jeeves" or something (can't remember exactly what website because I close anything that pops up as quickly as possible.)
www.fusenow.org - a foundation or something which tries to mobilise faith communities to "act on the increasingly harmful effects of our country's dependence on fossil fuels."
