It's still there for me.

You're using a Mac now, right? That may be the reason it doesn't show for you anymore.

It allows you to copy a pointer ro a direct web post instead of to the root of a thread or to search results. This is useful so you can point someone to the exact post they need to look at instead of to the root and saying "Find post 84 and read that one"
