hey there supercrip,
are you planning to go ahead and do more? progress towards trying this on your own? if so, lets talk on here...
I'm a L2 (and also affected with ALS) and I've done 9 tandem progression dives. for my info and some links to the 4th and 9th tandem progression dives (the 4th dive video has instruction on how we secure my legs and how I lift them up for landing)

I'd like to encourage everyone to follow along and see what happens to me as I go into the wind tunnel in Feb. most likely or March 2008. If all goes well in the wind tunnel I'll be moving on to AFF and going after my A license from there.
