Seems this is an ongoing problem. I have noticed with other users as well. I'm running Trend micros PC-cillin Internet Security pack. Every time I go to Dropzone.com I get this message. Is there anything I can do or the administrator can do to fix this its annoying.
I am running 3 different AV packages and they are not picking anything up. You may want to contact Trend to have then adjust the detection for this threat.
Contacted Trend Micro about the problem. They say no can do. There are apparently some sort of links or associations with the site that advise of the Spyware threat. So this leaves me to you guys. You need to check things out on the site and rid of any current or possible links or treats or associations with Spyware. Thanks Doug

Doug, they are trigging their detection off of the banners being served up via the Adbrite network. http://www.adbrite.com/ These are some of the non-skydiving ads you can see at the top of your page. Dropzone is not responcible for those ads and they are not spyware or adware. Trend detects them but they are harmless links.
While Dropzone.com is not responsible for individual ads, they have contracted with AdBrite to display them, so there is some responsibility for their content.

...and they are not spyware or adware.
You sure? In all cases? A very nasty payload can be delivered in an ad if AdBrite are not vigilant enough in their vetting.
They are not going to do anything about it, it is income for them. Youll either have to live with it like I do, stop coming here or go into PCcillin and override it.
