isnt there some kind of script that can be installed so we dont have to put those tags on the links to make them clickable??

it seems like such an obvious fix..im almost certain that it exists...

Are you aware of the button at the bottom of the post window that puts the tags on the front and back for you? Two clicks of your mouse and it's done!

-Click the button marked "url"
-Paste in the link
-Click the same button that now reads "/url"

Done! Cool

I think the point of the OP is that most applications now recognize http://www.test.com as a URL and make it a link by default.
