Tandem injury in Batavia? Can't Post

Anybody actually know what happened?

Anybody actually there?

The news reports are spectacularly unacurate... <sigh>

The article said they were jumping from 19,000. Does that seem a little high to anyone else?

I've been in a couple of loads that went above 15,000 at Batavia, but 19 is a bit high....

I believe that the article also stated the they were both experienced jumpers.... Were they doing a Tandem Instructor licencing jump? If so 19000 might not have been bad if they were on O2 past 12000

Whoa... That was cool!
