I just thought it would be cool to replace the Calender with a direct link to the Galleries/Photography page. I don't really know how much Calender gets used, but I know that I have to go main page and then back to Photos everytime.
Yup - I agree that there's merits to getting a link to the Galleries in the main nav bar... I'm just not convinced it should be at the cost of losing the link to the Calendar. Let me play around with this a bit....
The galleries do get visited a lot more than the calendar.
Now as an afterthought. You could probably put the calender listing on the main page as you do the photo. Put a link to BOOGIES and another link to INSTRUCTOR CAMPS/ETC and other things. I don't know how this site works, but depending on how people catagorize an event when posting it, they could be split up when you want (as in certain pages for each).
