Any opinions/reviews on Skydive U? Can't Post

Considering doing my first 10 jumps after AFP graduation with the Skydive U coach, Mollie, at XKeys. Anyone gone through it either there or at other locations? Just wondering if it's worth the $71/jump price? ($710 for 10 jumps).

Also, if anyone's interested in sharing the price with me, it's $44/each if I get one other person and $36/each if I get 2. I'd be looking to do the 10 jumps over the weekend either next weekend (6/30, 31) or the one after that. Provided I can get down there on some low wind days to get AFP done before that.

Totally worth it but best if you do it alone.

I think it is definetly worth it but it is a bit pricey.
I would definetly want to split it with you if that is really how it works! I did 2 down there on the 10th

Here's the pricing from their website:

SDUs Northeast Campus at Skydive Crosskeys:
with video
one -on-one $71.00usd $108.00usd
two -on-one $44.00usd $64.00usd
three -on-one $36.00usd $49.00usd

If you're interested in splitting it, send me an email or icq (in my profile). Probably won't be for 2 or 3 weeks though considering I'm probably getting weathered out again this weekend.

Mollie is excellent, I did 3 jumps with her at X-Keys as part of my A license requirements. We may have met there, it was just about 2 months ago. You get a LOT of prep time with her on the ground, which helps a lot, and she is generally a very good instructor and motivator. The improvement I felt from just 3 jumps was pretty striking.

So: lots of fun and well worth the $70/jump. Ten jumps is a slightly different equation though. And I must admit I did have a little more fun on the "freefly safety jump" with Heath. Basically you try to sit and if you're like me you spend most of the time on your back.

Good luck pounding that license out!

I agree with the above. they truly are great coaches and motivators. They constantly help even after I took jumps with them and recomend them to anyone...

I did 55 jumps with Sky Dive U in Eloy last October wuth the Director Stephan Lipp. All on video and did a dozen 4 & 6 ways in the end. Got really comfortable and have a lot more knowledge than someone with twice as many jumps. I feel quality not quantity is the way to go but expect to drop a bomb.
