There are 2 airports in Sao Paulo, the international is Guarulhos, a little outside of SP and the national is Congonhas, in the center of SP. If you fly in from outside the country you will land in Guarulhos. By the way, the homepage you mentioned is a Skydiving Magazine. But there are 2 Dropzones near (1 1/2 hours) Sao Paulo: Azul do Vento in Campinas: http://www.azuldovento.com.br/mapa.htm and Boituva http://www.azuldovento.com.br/mapa.htm
please feel free to pm me for further information.

Check the State department web site for travel information on Brazil. Brazil currently requires US citizens to undergo a fingerprint scan and photo on entry. Some people have issue with that and have gotten in trouble for displaying the "finger" or other obscene gestures. You will also need a Visa prior to arriving in Brazil so plan accordiningly.

This is the same treatment that EVERY foregner has to undergo to enter the US. I have to admit, I felt a little malicious pleasure every time entering Brasil and seeing the extra line of US citizens because I travel to the US around 10 times per year and realy hate the shitty treatment you get at the entry of the US. I know this is wrong because its not the fault of the citicens that you have such a paranoid goverment...
But all in all, I feel a lot more save in Sao Paulo then in LA.
Thanks for the heads up Scott. I have the Visa thing in the process... but had no idea about the foto/fingerprints... i guess i have no choice with that. do you know if i have to join a brazilian skydiving federation or something like that?? Scott the boogie rocked!!! you better come down next year!!
