Hi all! Could someone make it clear what is the difference btw WorldTeam'06 in 400way and International Team of skydivers in 300way? and why this event in Eloy 2002 redcrossed? Is it unofficial? (see http://records.fai.org/pilot.asp?from=parachuting&id=952) Is "WorldTeam" just a trade mark of B.J.? Or smn's brand ?

On the FAI page a red-cross = past record (now superseded) as stated on the page you referenced.
WT06 was organized by BJ Worth and had the same basic organization as his other World Teams extending back to 1996. The 2002 300-way record was organized by Airspeed (Dan, Jack and George to be precise) and funded by Go Fast and Skydive Arizona.
Does it mean that the main "World Team", I mean the exact name is a kind of B.J. registered "trade mark"? And noone in the world can call his internetionaly combined team as "World Team"?

I think I heard somewhere that BJ's brother owns the rights to the logo "World Team". But it would be best to ask BJ himself IMO.
Be safe Ed

According to the the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the owner of the trademark 'World Team' is Suzanne Maxx, 256 South Robertson Boulevard, Suite 770 Beverly Hills, CA 90211.
The description for the TM is interesting: 'Entertainment in the nature of on-going reality based television programs or actuality television, that combines the strength of reality tv, talk and game shows, news programs and inspirational drama to the next generation, Actuality Tell-A-Vision, using a global team to approach social and the environment topics with a multi-media platform. '
Sorry for bothering everybody, but I still can't get the point. From the discription of the TM it comes that World Team is a global team which "Actuality Tell-A-Vision" uses to approach social and the environment topics with a multi-media platform. When I was jumping in 400way, I didn't notice in the sky or aboard the plane any environmental or social topics as well as a multimedia platform by the way! It did not like as a reality show as well, to be serious. I very much respect B.J. and my very simple question definitely not against IPC or FAI. I just want to know why in some cases the name of internationaly combined team of skydivers is "internationaly combined team of skydivers" and in other cases the same internationaly combined team of skydivers named "World Team"? Is this because of the B.J. presence in the team? Or because he uses the TM of Suzanne Maxx, 256 South Robertson Boulevard, Suite 770 Beverly Hills, CA 90211 (According to the the United States Patent and Trademark Office). Or hi is using this logo because it is the simpliest and the best discription of the crouds of skydivers who came to set the Record? And has nothing to do with officially registered TM? Please, sorry my curiousity.
Edited to add: BJ did receive an invitation to the 300 way, just as the 300 way organizers received invitations to WT 06. Many of the team and Sector captains were on both events.

I am not. That was a tounge-in-cheek comment. I was just curious weather that was not "liked" but the 300-way Eloy organizers, or what. Obviously, he WAS qualified for that 300-way...
