My 357way DVD arrived just 6 months before I left for the Thailand this year. Alot of camera flyers had their own copies released much sooned, so someone may have a better chance to get a copy of of the jumps from one of them. BJ is a busy guy.
Question: As long as you aren't marketing (selling) a video can you legally take the clips off WT and make you on vido? Can the people that want to post there clips and let people copy them?
WT has the right to all the video of the camera crew for the first year. So no, the camera crew can't post even their own footage. After the year is up, the camerapeople are free to do what they want with their footage.
This doesn't apply to stills BTW, only to the video.
Last DVD had a lot of problems, I ended up having to make the DVD in the end when I wasn't supposed to. Plus BJ and Bobbie were in Thailand again for the Tsunami relief so were real busy. The DVD's were delivered to each (non-USA) teamcaptain around dec 2004/jan 2005, depending on when I got the shipping address. You might remember me aking around here for those addresses... If you got your DVD much later than that, blame your teamcaptain
so video from non-hired video people can be copied?
I hope it doesn't take a year and a half but as long as I can edit something for my family I'll be fine.
My guess is yeah, unless there was some agreement I don't know about. But since all the outside camera crew was hired, that leaves just the few jumpers with inside cameras, and people on the ground. You'd have to ask them.
